"I trusted you with my grandaughter. I raised her since she was three years old. I didn't raise her to be preyed on."

Mervin George, Sr, the grandfather of Jane Doe, the victim in the William Jarnaghan case, spoke today before Judge Hinrichs gave her decision on sentencing.

"I've come to talk to you, especially to him," looking towards Jarnaghan, he continued, "I was a little girls coach for 32 years; you don't bother your kids; you don't bother girls, especially."

"I trusted you with my grandaughter. I raised her since she was three years old. I didn't raise her to be preyed on. This family is a Christian family. She was 15, he was 40. His family blames her for this; shame on you! Shame on everybody for letting this happen."
