Warren's attorney surprises Dorothy Ulrich's husband with, "Do you know why your wife would have Jason Warren fix the camera that looks out on the backyard?"

The last witness this morning was Timothy Ulrich Sr., Dorothy Ulrich's husband. His testimony took up the majority of the morning, describing in detail the security system he had installed in his home, identifying photographs of his home.

The jury got to see the smaller of the Samurai swords, part of a set Timothy Ulrich had bought as collectible and, one similar to the alleged murder weapon which was never found.

Timothy Ulrich had only seen Jason Warren in passing and did not recognize him in the courtroom. His testimony took up most of the morning session.

During cross examination, Timothy Ulrich was surprised by a question asked by Warren's attorney, Mr. Glenn Brown. "Do you know why your wife would have Jason Warren fix the camera that looks out on the backyard?"

Timothy Ulrich said he was not aware of any problems with the camera. When he testified earlier, he said he was not aware of any friendship Warren had with his family.

On a surveillance video seen earlier that morning from the Hoopa mini-mart, you see Dorothy Ulrich beckoning and leaving with Warren. In his opening statements, Mr. Paul Sequeira claimed that Warren was helping Ulrich move.
